“Can We Chill” is the third single from R&B singer and songwriter Ne-Yo’s second studio album, Because of You.

The song is written by a Yahoo! user commonly known as bautistakaizer, and was edited by Ne-Yo. It was written due to the contest of Yahoo! and McDonald’s which takes aim of Ne-Yo’s third single which became “Can We Chill”.

The song was originally not released on the album. It was later released on the deluxe edition. Fans, critics and Ne-Yo himself said that the writer of the song is very talented in terms of writing songs. It was the best song from Ne-Yo ever, said Snoop Dogg.
