Kuz, a Chicago native of the past nine years, is spending his second week in Billboard magazine’s R&B/hip-hop singles sales charts with the song “Boss Status.”

Kuz is new to the rap scene and has said he thinks his style is similar to that of Jay-Z, T.I. and Young Jeezy.
